the insecure celebrity

now you see the finale.
bit p'd off because i only had 11 hrs to draw it and its a horrendusly big piece. couldnt tell you what size though as i cut it out myself from a a1 piece of crappy paper.
anyway, this is what 11hrs brings from me for this size..

anyway this is what i intended the finale to be about,.

its based quite obviously on a magazine cover.
the photo now drawing represents a few things. the paper bag represents make up- cosmetics and stuff and the reason its in the form of a bag is because it represents that its hiding the true face, by using these producs, hence the bag is from lush a beauty shop based on hiding the bodys scents.
ive used my gf for the model because as you may have seen she has the most beautiful eyes, that ive tried to show through the mask to show that undernieth all the pooh there is true beauty. my original idea was to colour the eyes in blue, glad i didnt.
then theres the top scrunched and half on, this is meant to co incide with the pose which is intended to be of frustration, in my head i had her half dressed and caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and got mad.

now the belly, originally was clingfilmed up so tight the skin and fat hung out, strangleing the body, the cling film would have taken so long and i dindnt have long. so i put stretch marks. the scars on her wrist are not really there i placed them there to show previous attempt as suicide.
the overall look was meant to be anger and frustration based on the insecurity of her looks and the competition towards skinny beautiful models.
thats the reason i place her on the magazine,
magazine models and celebrities are always beautiful and glamerous, as you can see this is quite the opposit.

sorry ive explained so much, you should come to your own conclusions as to what it means.
